Your question assumes there's a lot of people in this forum familiar with this bike.
I can assure you that is not the case.

It looks like it's a good entry level frame. Stable looking geometry very typical of Bianchi.
I'm thinking the first things I would do is upgrade the wheels and drive train as my budget permitted.
Assuming it fits you OK. If it doesn't you should be able to re-sell it yourself and not take a loss. $300 sounds about right for one of these in almost new shape.
