I don't have race wheels, so I'm not missing that opportunity. If I move to a Quarq, then I have to turn around and buy a head unit of some sort, and I'm into the $2k range at that point. Then I still need a new rear wheel. I can sell the PT and break even on that one I suppose.

Still, it's a lot of PT harnesses before I get to that $2k kind of money. It's absurd how many of them I see out on the road though (and SRMs too). It seems like lots of people are able to just jump in and do it. I've got the money, I just can't bring myself to spend it. <shakes head>
PowerTaps still a great deal!

so many wireless SL 2.4's 28/32 spoke were on ebay last year for like $700-775 for built wheels or even wheelsets. Havent seen a lot lately.

650 if you like wired, from Competitive (I dont like wires)

for $ 1200 today you can go buy a SL+ wireless 2.4 for $1200 WITH a joule computer. that is not looking very hard

Theres a brand new ZIPP 404 with a wireless PRO+ (not myfavorite heavy hub but whatever) for $1350 on ebay now.
