I test drove the Defy as well. Pretty good bike. Didn't really feel any difference. They're both about as comfortable. But I didn't like the greek Giant dealers over here. Specialized staff won me. Plus I get to have a BG Fit later in the summer. Giant doesn't offer any fitting service.

I'm almost sure it's a perfect first road bike
