Mainly that it is seemingly such a quality build, with a known quality frame for a possible great price. But, like others pointed out, this thing will likely get outside my price range once the end date approaches. I heard others praise the Surly 1x1 in a commuting/road role. Mainly when dealing with bad roads, certainly. I will keep my eye on it in the hopes I get lucky like some stories I have read on these forums, but not getting my hopes up, heh.
