My first ride with the suspension seat post. It seems to be working to really reduce the chafing which was keeping me off of the bike

I broke a total of 5 miles on the bike up into about 1-mile chunks on a mixed-mode transit after work this morning. It was hot and humid so the air-conditioned breaks on the bus were welcome respites.

Having been a low-mileage rider so far this year, it felt like an accomplishment to conquer Broad Street in Chamblee, GA and the south end of Idlewood Road in Tucker, GA in the same day without walking either hill. Add to it the fact that I was riding with approximately 50 pounds of cargo and I'm decently impressed with myself.

By the time I got home, showered, and into bed, it had been a 24 hour, 3 minute day so I was doing all of this riding this morning while I was already pretty worn out (adding to the sense of accomplishment).
