It came from a good source. You know the reports of certain bike shops only stocking 29ers? Don't be shocked if it starts happening everywhere in the US.
I haven't been to a niner only shop yet. I reckon I can always get 26" bikes from Asia if I have to. How many Asians can comfortably ride a 29er? I reckon Trek WSDs (and other brands' ladies lines will always be available in 26" also).
I did see my first Walmart 29er a couple weeks ago.
