I have 5000 miles on an '03 Allez Elite. Wheels were crap-Alex 330s. Also had problems with Specialized seats, but the newer models look to have much improved seats. I'm extremely happy with mine. It's 105 with some generic bits, but as things wore out, I've replaced them with Ultegra. I'm happy I went with 105 and not lower because of how much I use it-the incremental cost of the upgrade is next to nothing. Also, it's decent enough that I can hold off buying the next bike that much longer...
