quick question re: hub service

I had a hub seize on me; turns out the pawl spring snapped and my bike was suddenly a fixie.

got a new spring from the manufacturer. this would be my first time doing this kind of repair, but it was very easy. popped the hub off, cleaned everything, regreased, put it back together. i used a grease that was recommended by a bike shop mechanic.

I tested the wheel out and everything seems to be fine. pawls are engaging how they should be. only thing thats different is that the bike is coasting much quieter now.

this hub (soul prodigy) was always pretty quiet, but now coasting is even softer; i went a bit on the heavy side with the grease. i didn't drown it, just put a good coating on everything.

my question is - is there any danger from overgreasing? should the clicks be more "metallic"?
