Riding in bike shorts. needed comfort. just gadding about. eventually would feel too restrictive. I wash out my shorts at work, because the ride home would be miserable.
ugh..putting on sweaty , smelly shorts. 12.5 hour shift. plenty of time for lycra to dry out.
however, I have slept in clean bike shorts on bike/camping trips. slept just fine. had to, my street clothes were wet.
just too gross if sweaty/smelly and forced to work in them all day.
I do have an on-going fear. I get to work and my work clothes are not there. that would be awful.
