Outstanding, THANKS!
zoste!!!!
I posted on a popular world-wide motorcycle message board asking about and looking for an ear-bud that combines BOTH L & R channels!!! Instead, all I got were smart comments, can't be done, why bother, etc. YOU have just helped me with something that'll keep me legal while enjoying my music, THANK YOU!!!
I ride alone on the motorcycle miles outa the way, and I carry FAR MORE stuff than I'll ever need..... NOT! I've actually had to use quite a bit of the stuff I carry, either for myself or somebody else stranded along-side the road. I suspect the same may hold true on my bicycle rides. Call it a character flaw....
Mithrandir,
Now THAT'S the kind of stuff I was looking for! Regarding ear buds, snowman40 mentioned tinnitus.... and I've got it bad, had it all my life. I ride the motorcycle with ear plugs and actually hear MORE than without them..... Unless someone tried them (on a motorcycle) people would not understand why or what I mean, so I won't try. And ear buds.... it's illegal on a motorcycle to have them in both ears. But I rely far more on my mirrors and heightened awareness than simply what I (might) hear. I won't argue with folks who insist they know of what they speak.... just ask 'em, they KNOW of what they speak.
I'm already carrying a pump, Co2, multi-tool, patch kit, water bottle, garage door opener, wallet, and I plan to research/ask about/look at mileage computers for my handlebars; my 15 year old nautical GPS is.... cumbersome (and a bit embarresing).
I decided today that I'll move my insulated water bottle to my pack on the rear luggage rack, isolating it from the heat with added inuslation and a sammich for that picnic ride someday. I actually have some speakers that'll velcro to the top of my handlebar bag and will look pretty good!
How many people her carry pepper spray? I sure seem to see a heck of a lot of photos with something that resembles it!?!!
