The Specialized Rockhopper Comp design has been around pretty much from the beginning of MTB, so if your looking for a quality bike geometry, you can check that box. Deore is the economy level of Shimano's quality stuff, so if your looking for decent components, I'd check that box too. The fork and wheelset are to 2 other components that are the most expensive to replace, if they are original, they are probably equally good. If it's tuned and the bike fits you, you would be hard pressed to find a new one for $450 with the same level of quality. However, 450 seems a sellers price to me, see if you can get the seller down to 350-400. Otherwise, get it and ride the F out of it.
