I picked up a Nitto Technomic Stem but its too long for my frame by about 3 cm. I'm tempted to cut it. Its aluminum so it shouldn't be too bad. a bit much to do with a dremel. Maybe start it with a dremel and continue with a hack saw....finish edges with the dremel.

Is this a terrible idea?
