Took one of my longer-but-still-direct routes home last night just for an extra mile of fun.

Good ride in this morning. Seemingly a tad drier this AM after storms in the area last night. Got a surprise compliment from another commuter this AM re: my bike. Just said thanks at first until I saw he was on a black Cross Check. I ride a black LHT, so his comment made even more sense. I only managed an "Ah" as in I get it now, but was too slow in my morning stupor to share the Surly love back. So, if you're reading, I liked your Cross Check, too, even though I didn't manage to verbalize that...
