hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. I usually get a long ride in each weekend and then will usually make the next day a rest day. That means either no biking or if I do ride then I keep the pace easy, don't attack any minor uphills, keep the HR low, etc. Protein, carbs, and fluids after the long rides and plenty of sleep.

I'm breaking my own rules this weekend by knocking out several consecutive longer rides, just curious as to how my body will recover. 73 miles yesterday, 50 this morning and I'm getting ready to go out for another 20, and then at least 50 tomorrow. Today I felt great and had plenty of energy and no soreness. I think the real test will be tomorrow.
