Hmm, no pics of wheel, derailleur, hanger or chain and cassette. I would like to see everything before drawing any conclusion that the frame just let go first and the caused carnage across the bike.

Nothing is foolproof from failure... just seems like some type of chain suck or chain crossed over the 11 between the cassette and frame would more likely cause the failure shown.
