Attaching the top part of the rack shouldn't be an issue--there are side holes on the rear monostay for that. I think some frames also have a mystery center hole (which i mistakenly thought I had).


Here are the guides successfully installed. I can't say I'm a fan of this design where you press down the pin without going all the way through. In hindsight, I'd suggest picking up 4 in case you screw up one.


I found a cannondale BB guide after striking out on the first 2 from the LBS. So now, my only remaining concern for touring is a rear fender. I can double up on the eyelets. Without calipers, I'm still not sure about the middle support. For the final support, I might be able to get a brace or ziptie it to the front part of the rear triangle which unfortunately has no hole:
