Bikes: Bike Count: Rising.

Any bike regardless of what it is made of will crack if it is hit just right. Well carbon fiber may be the exception, very nasty when it fails. Aluminum is tough and sans a manufacturer defect will last you a very long time. It's been as safe of a bet as steel frames were(And still are if you prefer the ride characteristics of steel) right when aluminum was the new material.
