Ride home yesterday was pretty good except I got a big scare from a driver pulling some bizarre, boneheaded maneuver. Hard to describe the situation without a picture. PSA: make sure your brakes are in good shape!
Ride to work was awesome. Some drivers were even accomodating. See? it doesn't have to be bad every day.
I did have my chain slip off, though, when I went over a bump in Central Park. Easy enough to fix, and it gave me an excuse to have some water (no cage on my folder, and my commuter bag / hydration pack hasn't arrived yet so I carry a little bottle in my backpack). If not for that I might have gone non-stop from a light two blocks from home to the bagel shop near work (nearly 8 miles).
