I bought a Joe Blow pump about 6 years ago for $24 at TJ Maxx, of all places. After awhile, the rubber compression fitting started to stretch, and it was leaking air. I was able to fix it by removing the fitting, wrapping it with plumber's teflon tape, and reinstalling it.

Otherwise, it's served me well.
