I use a leaf blower to clean the MUP between my place and my job. I don't wait for the government to do anything........
I also decided to not wait on our local government to take action in keeping our local bike infrastructure clean, but after a few weeks, I found that it's good to check with the public works department on what certain procedures that one can legally do when cleaning their public right of ways.
