Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Likely to be no problem. I'm using a 9-speed Shimano road crank (Ultegra 6500-series triple) on an othersise 10-speed drivetrain (shifters, cassette and chain) with no problems. Front shifting is excellent.
