Tire size, double top tubes, sourced from Taiwan frames (though De Rosa's Carbon probably comes from there now too), goofy model names, love affairs with outdated parts, and premiums for lugs? Blog rants? I'm guessing Ugo doesn't use Twitter.

I think Rivendell does seem neat things and fills their niche well...it's not for me, but I understand the appeal. I almost ended up with one actually...as a trade for another bike. I have to admit...I was looking forward to trying it! My motivation for wanting an Ugo is that, as I;ve said many times before, a friend I raced with had one that i lusted after and it made an impression. I wanted a De Rosa. I got my orange SLX and it never did much for me...hopefully this one will! I've heard great things about EL OS tubing.
