I would like to state, unequivocally , that I have lied about De Rosa's before in order to boost the value, because I'm selling all of mine. They are crap, and no one should buy them, especially the modern, cast lugged, Primato's.

Everyone who has ridden an EL OS tubed De Rosa has lied about the ride quality, they are crap. Whippy and harsh at the same time. They are also prone to failure, I heard, from a reliable source, that every tube brazed was cooked. The Primato was nothing more than a training exercise for inexperienced brazers. It was not discontinued because it was too expensive, it was discontinued because you could no longer import monkeys from Madagascar to work in Italian factories.

Damn you PETA, I loved the cheap monkey brazing.
