If you enjoy evening social rides and are on Facebook, be sure to check out the group called Social Cycling Austin. They have nice relaxing rides almost every day of the week. Most rides start in central/downtown area. There is also a Full Moon Cruise at 12:30am on the night of a full moon! Those are usually fun depending on the routes. You get to see some cool lights people have on their bikes, if that's your thing.
You'll be stuck riding with a mass of hipsters though if you join some of these rides
