It wasn't that long ago that several stock bikes came with some nice bits. For example the Felt TK2 would come with Sugino75 cranks and Mavics Ellipses if I remember correctly. Hell, even the KHS Flite 100 came stock with Sugino75 cranks and dura ace hubs and Mavic rims. We've come a long way from those days which weren't that many years ago.
