It's no wonder the guy was a legend. I learn something new every time I read one of his articles. I've owned many different wheels in my 20+ years of cycling and never knew any of that about QR, just tightened them up without thinking about it. But the best QRs I have are Dura Ace, easy to tighten, always secure. The ones that came with two sets of Ksyriums however were POS and replaced very soon with D-A.
