Looks like a nice upgrade!

Weinmann makes good low end rims and other components. I have a set of there rims, they are good. The RM-30 hub is likewise good quality low end. Both will last forever with proper maintenance.

Do you have an 8 speed hub with a 4.5mm spacer or a seven speed hub and no spacer? The RM-30 was offered both ways, though it is hard to find the seven speed version. http://www.amazon.com/Shimano-Altus-.../dp/B004E3PE9G
