And, to answer your question, F yeah I'd slap on the best bits to a CAAD10 frameset.
You can always take those upgrades to your next bike.
Actually, that's how I started out with my CAAD9.

I thought that I was going to upgrade it then transfer everything over to a carbon frameset.
Didn't work out that way. I simply fell in love with my 9 and she's going to stay exactly as she is.

Wheels, Cockpit, upgrade the heck out of your 10 as your budget and priorities dictate.
There will be a few components that you might not be able to transfer over like the seat post
or the front derailleur.

Just to get you started...Full Dura Ace 7800 w/Ultegra SL crank, Ultralight CNC brakes,
Fizik cockpit, Edge 1.0 fork, Dura Ace 7900 pedals & Ksyrium Elites at 15.65lbs.
