Yes. It's for a minimum 1.5"

Tubes that will fit generally fall in the 1.1-1.4" range. Look for the words "thorn proof." I -think- Michelin makes Airstops in this size; their butyl tires are super-lightweight, which is the opposite of what you want.

Also, you may come across 26 1 3/8". This is a size used on old British bikes and won't fit.
