Well I must admit (and I think it's plain to see) that my response to you was classic projection. When clicking on your link, I did not expect to see one of the model bikes I have always thought of as a wonderful sleeper - and in the size that I would need too! The Schwinn Tempo in this beautiful color looks much like a Rivendell Atlantis (well close enough for me considering the Atlantis FRAME costs $2000!)

One thing would make me stick to my suggestion is how tall you are? If you are considering buying a bike this size, I have to assume you are tall. If you are tall like me, or say 6'4"+, then I would bet you're riding around like a circus act on a mountain bike that's way too small for you. These size frames are what tall riders cherish. I have 5 bikes, but if this bike were in Phoenix, I'd be negotiating right now.
