I got caught in a savage thunderstorm this morning. 80mph winds, tree branches coming down all around me, cats and dogs rain, thunder and lightning. not what i would call ideal conditions.

i checked the radar right before i left home and the storm line was still out in kane county, so i was sure i could beat it into work before it got to the lakefront, but no dice, this beast of a storm was moving fast.
