Thanks for the response. They didn't measure me or anything. They just had me stand over the bike and see if it fit. I am 6 ft 1 in. tall with an inseam of 32 to 33 for jeans. The bike I was riding was 56 cm. Does that sound about the right size for me? Based on what you are saying, I'd guess 58 because your jeans inseam is not your bike leg length. Add an inch. The only way you can use standover is to know the standover for that bike which is on their website. But you really need to know the top tube length. A longer or shorter torso will mean a different size. Long legs short torso, short legs long torso can mean different sizes or setups for people the same height.
"Why are you recommending this bike size for me?" And get a specific answer. Not a pull it up to your crotch answer.
