My usual ride is 26 miles which I try to do 3 to 4 times a week. This year has been a challenge because of bad weather and household chores that needed to be done. My longest day ride was 77 miles and this year I hope to do a century later this summer.
The 26 mile ride is pretty much the same although the scenery is nice enough not to be boring. Plus, by taking the same route I can keep track of my degree of fitness. When I first started I was doing it in 2 hours and 15 minutes but now usually make it in 1 hour 50 minutes.
