Ride home yesterday was HOT. Temps in the mid nineties, with high humidity and a heat index well in excess of 100 and a 15-20 mph headwind thrown in for good measure. Given all that I had a remarkably comfortable ride home. Just took it a little easy.

Forgot to mention I passed 1500 commuting miles YTD yesterday morning. With vacations behind me and extra miles expected startin Aug 22 with grad school kicking off I'm well on my way to another 3K+ miles commuting year.

This morning was nice, relatively speaking, but looking at a similar afternoon commute as yesterday. One forecast I saw predicted 101 w/ heat index of 110+. Oughta be fun!
