Putting a 120 mm hub into 110 mm dropouts is not really such a big deal.
You have a Sturmey Archer AW hub and rim now, right? Why not just build that up and go with it. If you find a cheap FW you can switch the guts of that into the AW shell any time you like; and you can convert the FW to S5 while you're at it. They all have the same OLD.
What brakes/calipers, stem, handlebar?
Did you try that spindle/crank? If that spindle is too long, I have a couple shorter ones. I don't remember which one I gave you, but I had these to chose from:
29. 34 - 52 - 41, 131 total.
30. 36 - 52 - 44, 133 total.
31. 36 - 52 - 45, 135 total.
32. 31 - 62* - 42, 137 total. It is marked YST 3757.
33. 39 - 52 - 49, 142 total.
You have one of the above; let me know if one of the others will do the job better.
