I scored a great deal on eBay for them, so I can't complain. I'm not sure what wheels you're comparing them to, but the weight difference is probably negligible and the lightweight rims make these feel incredibly light. The hubs are buttery smooth and combined with latex tubes, the ride is incredibly smooth, even over less-than-ideal road surfaces.

Sometimes I worry about what will happen if I total one of the rims, but they've held up well so far. If I had to do it again, I'd probably go for a set of handbuilts on HED C2 rims with nice hubs like the Alchemy ELF/ORC or King R45, but either way, my wheels aren't what's holding me back.
