Funny story, broke my collarbone when I was like 11. Well, about 4 weeks later, I was riding a friends bike because it was nice and he left it outside next door to me. Decided to do some wheelies, mid air, the front wheel falls off. But, I was already committed to letting it back down on the ground, too late...fell, crash..re-broke my collarbone (man that sh&t hurt as bad as the first time). But I toughed it out.

Went to doctors 2 weeks later, mind you, I didn't tell mom/dad/anybody what happened. Dr. took an XRay..came back in the room and was like WTF?!?!? Your collarbone has been re-broken, or you have been active and moving it around not allowing it to heal at all??

Well, needless to say, he said, I will fix this problem. He wrapped my upper body/shoulders/left collarbone ace bandages, tape and a brace, then more ace bandages/tape. I was like a mummy for the next 6 weeks.

Lessons learned:

1) Check front wheel to ensure it won't fall off before riding it.
2) Don't try wheelies on a bike while you are healing from a broken collarbone.
