I love riding at night. I know it's supposed to be more dangerous, but I think if you factor in the fact that there is much less traffic, it is actually safer. I would never do it without reflectors and head- and tail-lights, of course. Here in Tennessee, it gets hot enough to literally melt cyclists and runners, and motorists are poopheads much of the time, so night rides are just the thing
