Sram Rival zero-loss & trim issues
Hi All,
I've got a Sram Rival group on my bike, 2009 shifters, which I believe is the year Sram introduced zero-loss to the Rival shifters.
Anyways, if I adjust the front shifting so that there is no initial slack when shifting from the small to large chainring, I lose my trim setting in the large chainring. The shifter will still click, as if releasing enough cable for the trim setting, but the front derailleur doesn't move.
Alternatively, I can loosen the front shift cable enough that I have some initial play when shifting to the large chainring, but this allows me to use my trim position again.
Anyone have any suggestions or ideas on what I might be doing wrong in terms of setting up my drivetrain?
