I don't think it will be close at all. Even if the plane leaves on-time, there's 10-15 minutes of taxiing, plus 10-15 minutes in the air, plus 10-15 minutes to get to the gate, plus 1-15 minutes to get off the plane (depending on the seat, of course), plus getting to the rendezvous point.

Adding all that up, that gives...wait a minute...this could be close! ;-)

They need to have a Jet Blue employee at the mid-way point to serve cola and toss packages of peanuts at the riders.
