The Bike shop owner had a Schwinn voyager come in. Its the old Japan columbus? steel frame and hes going to put on new tires and a new chain and clean it up and he said 200$ He also said this was a touring bike and that this frame is a great frame for road commuting. It also has a slightly longer wheel base. I forgot to ask what size frame it is. Ill ask tomorrow and then compare that Tempo with this voyager.

PS: the bike shop owner I have known since I was a little kid so I have no concerns of getting taken for a ride(pun intended). And in his opinion this is the type of frame I was looking for in a sturdy commuter bike.
