soymateofeo- you really have me thinking again about which route to take. My mtb is pretty heavy compared to the voyager also. The bike shop owner said he would show me his route that he takes to school and said that the route I took was no good and I would rather enjoy the ride when taking his route which is way more bike friendly which now I have to keep in mind in this decision, but thanks for those tire ideas Ill be checking them out tonight.
