Twice in the last week I've been talking to people about my vintage Panasonic and they've reached over to pick it up. Both times they were amazed with what it weighs. Not because it's so light, but because it weighs about 30 pounds. And I've got it down from the 33 pounds it originally weighed when I purchased it.

Doesn't matter to me. It rides like a Cadillac and it gets me from point A to point B quick enough to satisfy me.

I've got lighter bikes for when I'm in the mood.
