Today I:

1. Figured out what caused my little accident yesterday (on a ~60 mile road ride on the Serotta, on a downhill, over-shifted on the front, chain jammed, bent the new big ring). Today I had the bike on the stand, thought I had correctly adjusted the derailleur stop, and did it again. As I was untangling the chain, something dropped on the floor. It was one of the derailleur pivot bolts . At least I was able to put it back in and get it working properly. Maybe it is time to upgrade to 10-speed .

2. Listed a few things on ebay in anticipation of needing cash for a new build .
