Help me better "Utilize" my Trek 800.

This is an old picture from Halloween a few years ago, but it kinda shows what my
set-up looks like now....

Jandd extreme front & rear expedition racks & an add a bike.
The front Jandd doesn't seem to fit very well on my 800... tight fit around brakes &
no mounts on forks & with the add-a-bike,the rear rack is pretty much useless with the add-a-bike& because I have no bags for the racks.

I'm trying to drive less & bike more,so should I just sell/trade both the racks for a front basket? Or somehow mount a basket /platform to the Jandd?
How about the rear? what bags will work with the rack & the add-a-bike?
Is there some other rear racks/baskets/bags that will work with the add -a-bike?

Just want to be able to carry groceries, maybe lunch.
Sometimes if I go riding with my son without the add-a-bike & he gets tired, I strap his bike on the front rack & he rides on the rear one.
He's almost to heavy for this now,but I'd like the basket/racks I replace the Jandds with to be able to carry some weight... at least 50 pounds.
Thanks for any ideas?
