The little plastic bracket that you close on the rubber strap to hold the light in place is pretty weak and thin. If you really try to clamp the thing down hard it will break. It's an OK light except for that. I had two,
I broke one and gave the other one away. The Nashbar "Brilliant" is just a little brighter, has a better beam shape if you ever get stuck riding home with it, and more rugged. It may be cheaper depending on what the prices are at the time you look. It's waterproof too. It may be $10 less.
