After years of cycling with Clipless pedals with no incidents, it happened to me yesterday and to make it worse the bike handlebars went directly onto my chest on falling, necessitating a trip to the local ER with 3 cracked ribs, severe chest wall bruising, swelling and a whole load of pain... at least I get a couple of weeks rest....
