I have a univega gran rally that is 50cm, a bit too small, and I just got a nice deal on a clean 54cm gran rally. I was going to swap the wheels from the 50 to the 54, since they are a nice set of wheels, and I just realized that the 50cm had 27 in wheels and the 54 has 700c and there isnt enough clearance for the nice 27inchers. When did they switch over from 27in to 700c for the gran rally? I have an extra set of nice 700c wheels that I will probably have to use, but they were really waiting for a frame for my first build . the 54 serial is K169132 the other is j610627, both are the 600 arabesques.
