Large Frame-Medium Rider
I am riding a 58cm road frame, but I am only 5'10". About 1" of the seat-post is showing. Is there anything, inherently wrong with this? The only problem I have encountered is with stand-over height: I did injure myself once, when I slipped on the pedal when a streetlight turned green.
I think I should be riding a 54cm frame, and i have planned to buy one, but I'd like to know if using an over-sized frame is sub-optimal, even if the seat and bar height feel fine.
