My BB30 is creaking again, even after being installed with a layer of Permatex High Temp thread lock on the crank spindle. I'd like to remove and clean it to try and reinstall with a thick grease cept the threadlock is firmed up and I'm thinking I may need to heat the crank spindle slightly with a low temp heat gun. Is this the proper way to loosen up the thread lock compound for the crank spindle removal?
